According to recent industry numbers, over 150,000 vehicles were built in the UK last month. This amounts to a rise experts of .8% when compared to the same time period of the previous year. Manufacturing output rose by 3.8% and has now reached 1.47 million vehicles.
The CEO at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Mike Hawes to the press: “November’s manufacturing gains are encouraging and put the car industry in a strong position with one month left in the year.Particularly pleasing is the pickup in export production – proof the UK continues to build cars that appeal across the world.”
